Organic Grower Certificate to Organic Growers Group Ikalimore

The Organic Growers Group, Ikalimore, Tq Naigaon, Dist Nanded, was formed under the PKVY scheme by SSM/KVK to promote organic farming in its vicinity. The group was formed with 25 farmers who adapted to organic farming and grew Pigeon Pea & Soyabean over 10ha land during the Kharif season 2020.  They were provided with the guidance following organic practices by SSM/KVK, Sagroli.

The farmers in the group were also extended inputs by the expertise at KVK, Sagroli, through training given twice at their village & KVK, Sagroli.  With the inputs received through the training, the farmers started the use of organic fertilizers like Jeevaamrut, Vermi Compost, Amrut Pani, Daspari Ark, Lamit and also used waste decomposer biofertilizer, bio pesticides from KVK.

The Organic Growers Certificate distribution program was organized on 28th Nov 2020, at Ikalimore Tq Naigaon where  25 soybean and pigeon pea growers were given the certificate for the 1st season.
